PLBattery: a free tweak to have the battery percentage on your iDevice. With the latest iOS 16, compatible devices will now have the battery percentage display in the status bar on the notch of their devices.
The battery percentage remains available on devices with a button, as it always has been. But those who haven't installed iOS 16 can still taste it with the new PLBattery tweak.
Jailbreaking your iDevice allows you experience different features that will normally not be possible. A good example of such experiences is to have a battery percentage in the status bar, even with a notched device and without an update. level to iOS 16.
Several Tweaks for this feature exist already, but the fact that Apple reintroduced this option in iOS 16 gave ideas to other developers. This is the case of Sugiuta with its free PLBattery tweak.
As you will see in the screenshot above, the tweak integrates the battery percentage directly into the battery level indicator icon, while keeping the principle of filling the "battery", unlike Apple which always leaves the icon "full" when you activate the display of the percentage. It is clear that we do not understand why Apple took five years to bring this option back to life, and especially why it is not as complete as this tweak.
The PLBattery tweak does not offer any configuration, just install it to enjoy it. If you want to try out PLBattery, you can download it for free from Sugiuta's personal repository, via your package management application of choice like Cydia, Sileo, or Zebra. The tweak is compatible with iOS 14 jailbreak . Here is the URL to add: https://sugiuta.github.io/
