The new Apple iPhone 12 comes Without a Charger

Apple announced the new iPhone 12 on October 13th 2020 and preorder for this device is already ongoing. But one thing you should know is that the new Apple iPhone 12 series comes without a charger. Also, the device comes without any EarPods in the box. 

Even though there is a USB-C to Lightning cable provided for the iPhone 12, 12 Mini, users will therefore have to buy their own charging adapter.

And if you were thinking of using your old square charger adapter, then you will have to forget about it. You won’t be able to use that with the new cable in the iPhone 12 box, which uses a different connection.

Apple beliefs some users won't be really needing the Charger adapter and ear-Pods as most of their customer already have them at home, but it will mean an extra expenditure for new users though. And according to them, ditching the plug and wired headphones from its latest iPhone models to reduce electronic waste.

All Apple previous devices have been shipping with a USB type A to lightning cable. But now even old models of Apple iPhones bought from the Apple store comes with on the USB type C connector and no charger plug.
