Apple's new flagship device is to be called the 2020 iPhone SE

iOS users have been expecting a new flagship device from the company and to what the name will be has been subjected to many suggestions. While some have been expecting an iPhone 9 or iPhone SE 2 to make its entry, the new Apple's flagship device will be called the 2020 iPhone SE, with "2020" referencing the hardware version edition, and to distinguish it from the iPhone SE(iPhone8,4) released back in March 2016.
Since leaks pointed out that the next Apple's flagship device will have some specs similar to the iPhone 8, many people thought it could be called the iPhone 9. But unfortunately, we won't be getting any iPhone 9. But the 2020 iPhone SE is much more closer to the iPhone SE 2 expected by many.

Also, a screen protector listed on Apple's official online store also confirms the iPhone SE moniker and hints at the nearing launch. As you can see below the Belkin invisiGlass Ultra screen protector for the iPhone SE. This also fits on the iPhone 8 and 7.

How will this new iPhone SE look like?

Based on sources from 9to5mac, the 2020 iPhone SE will come in three different colours; White, Black and red. And as for the colour casing, there will be a;
  • Black silicone
  • White silicone
  • Red leather
  • Black leather
  • Midnight blue leather

Storage & pricing

The 2020 iPhone will come in a 64GB, 128 and 256GB storage variants. And as for the price, there hasn't been any confined price range yet. But the original iPhone SE which came out in March 2016 was sold for $399. So, we are expecting the upcoming 4.7-inch phone(2020 iPhone SE) to be a little bit higher than $399 for the high storage version or why not even a little less! Why not!
