Major update for AltServer and AltStore

AltServer and AltStore 1.6 releases add a few new features that allow the software to take advantage of Apple's latest iPhone, iPad, and macOS updates. AltStore runs iOS 16

  • A new lock screen widget for iOS 16 that shows the countdown to AltStore expiration and comes in two different styles.

  • Compatibility improvements with iOS versions to check the harmony between updates and app installs, confirm if you want to update or install an app if it is not officially supported by your version, and view unsupported updates from the My Apps tab.
  • Completely overhauled error handling that makes it easier to debug issues, revised error messages to be more helpful to end users by including more information.
  • Various updates, such as the ability to refresh update checks, support for the new "versions" key in the source JSON, and support for updating apps from the page application details.
  • Fixed the "more" button appearing erroneously on app detail pages.
  • Fixed widgets that may not update and refresh apps.
